Bharat Media Point is a new-generation media initiative by Krishna Kasula, Chairman, BMP Ventures Pvt Ltd, redefining Journalism for a modern and self-reliant Bharat.
Bharat Media Point operates with a unique vision to bridge the gap between governance and the people. It stands as a platform where citizen concerns meet government accountability, ensuring that information flows both from the top and the grassroots. Bharat Media Point establishes dedicated Media Centres at every Assembly and Mandal Headquarters, allowing reporters and citizens to assemble at a common point, given commoners the much-needed voice they deserve.
By documenting and reporting local issues in real time, these centres foster decentralized communication, amplify regional voices, and increase civic participation. This model ensures both achievements and grievances are all heard and documented real time without any filter. When people are heard, they are respected and this platform is dedicated towards people Journalism and transparent reporting.
Bharat Media Point works for people and is driven by people. Its ambition of having a transparent and accessible media platform does not end here. Going beyond its role as a bridge between the citizens and the policy maker BMP aims to build next generation of Journalists.
BMP plans to launch Bharat Media Academy which would produce Journalists with hands on experience, ready to face the dynamic world of Journalism, in the years to come.
